Security guards of Russian embassy in Minsk called riot police for people laying flowers

More than 20 people came to the Russian embassy in Minsk to lay flowers and lit candles in memory of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.

According to leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka, the police forbade journalists to take photos or videos of laying flowers and lighting candles, explaining their actions with an order from the embassy, BelaPAN reports.

There was no condolence book in the embassy. Security guards called riot police, but no one was detained.
