Babruisk ideologists afraid of “discontent among people”

Shorter working weeks in some companies and a decrease in wages can cause discontent among people.

The statement was made by ideologist from Babruisk Mikalai Baliuk in the newspaper Vecherni Bobruisk, Viasna human rights centre reports.

Ideological officials of Babruisk had a meeting to discuss the “moral climate in the town's companies”. Directors and ideological officers will be responsible for the moral climate, the newspaper writes.

“We must draw great attention to the youth,” the newspaper Bobruiskaya Zhizn writes about the meeting. According to Tatsiana Harbachova, the head of the ideological department of the Pershamaiski district administration, the youth is “explosive, curious and very active”. “If their energy is not steered in the right direction, we can face much more serious problems in the future,” the newspaper's editor Vadzim Shchahlou wrote.

The ideologists seem to have begun preparations for the presidential “elections”. Comments to the article of the website of Vecherni Bobruisk show that ideologists already began to brainwash people.

“I work at the factory of clay whistles [the arts and crafts factory], and our ideologist told us about the economic miracle, prosperity and stability in the country. He said that we had no wars and gays, and workers receive pensions and wages on time,” one of the comments reads.
