Lohvinau bookstore gets licence for selling books

The bookstore made several unsuccessful attempts last year to get a licence.

The Ministry of Information issued Lohvinau bookshop the licence for selling printed products. It is registered in the state register as No.3/879 of March 16, 2015, Euroradio reports.

The bookstore made six attempts to get the document last year, but all of them were unsuccessful. The Minsk economic court fined the shop 5 million rubles. The shop also must pay the state more than 961 million rubles of illegal income.

Lohvinau bookstore launched a fundraising campaign to collect almost 1 billion rubles. 967 million rubles was collected during two months, which exceeds to amount of fines and penalties.
