Lukashenka doesn't get loan

The issue of a loan to Minsk was not discussed in Moscow.

The statement was made by Russian minister of finance Anton Siluanov, RIA Novosti reports.

“No. The issue of giving a loan to Minsk was not discussed on Tuesday at the extended meeting of the Supreme State Union of the Union State of Belarus and Russia,” he said, answering the question of journalists.

It's possible that Aliaksandr Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin spoke about the loan during a personal meeting.

The Belarusian authorities were reported by some media to have applied to the Russian government for $2.5 billion of financial aid for 2015.
