Wages not paid at JSC FanDOK

Workers have not received their pay for December yet.

A reader of charter97.org website has informed about that.

“Our furniture factory, JSC FanDOK has not paid workers their wages for December,” she writes.

The chief accountant Natallya Babrova consulted her colleagues and found out that charter97.org is “an oppositional mass media”, refused to comment on the situation.

“I cannot say anything to you. No comment,” she said dismissively.

Many Belarusian enterprises experience problems with wage payment. In particular, for a few recent months reports are received that plants are moved to four-day and three-day weeks, that wages are reduced or paid incompletely. Some employees are obliged to take unpaid leaves.
