On Tuesday evening Lithuanian border guards denied access to the country to 4 more bikers, citizens of Russia and Belarus.

It is unknown whether is it directly related to a notorious motorbike ride through Europe to Berlin, which they planned to dedicate to the victory over Germany in the World War II, DELFI.lt writes.

The border defence service of Lithuania informed that the bikers who had been denied entry at the border crossing checkpoints at the border with Belarus in Šalčininkai and Medininkai, had visas, however they could not offer other documents without which it is prohibited to enter the Schengen space.

Before that, on Monday and Tuesday, Lithuania also denied access to the country to 8 Russian citizens, they were stopped and sent back at the border of Belarus and Kaliningrad region of Russia. Some of them tried to enter Lithuania after they had been denied entry by Polish border guards at the Polish border.

The plans of Russian bikers incited negative reaction in the countries which they are set to visit as a part of their programme. Thus, according to reports from Poland and Germany, voices against the ride of Putin’s biker gang were heard in these countries. Belarusian bikers also refused to join the Russians.

On April 24 the Foreign Ministry of Poland passed a note to the Embassy of Russia in Warsaw, stating that the group of Russian bikers was denied access to the territory of Poland, the website informs.

On the weekend the Night Wolves were received in Belarus at the level of Lukashenka’s administration, which triggered discontent of Belarusians in social networks. Yesterday Poles didn’t let Putin’s bikers and NTV journalists to enter the territory of the European Union. Today they gave a press-conference in the Russian Embassy in Brest and they stated that they would try to cross the border again, this time in a larger group of 100. They plan to arrive to Berlin in two days.
