Council of Ministers deregulates prices

The Government lifted the ban on growth in prices.

The Decree No. 250 from March 31 of the Council of Ministers says.

In comparison to prices valid on December 18, 2014 the Government lifts the ban on growth in prices of retail goods. The Ministries of Commerce, Communication and Informatization, the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies, Regional Executive Committees, and the Minsk City Executive Committee are instructed to ensure a wide range of consumer goods in trading facilities including online shops, BelTA reports.

Deputy Prime Ministers Anatol Kalinin and Uladzimir Siamashko are responsible for saturation of consumer market with domestic non-food goods, Vice-Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy - for domestic food goods, First Deputy Prime-Minister Vasil Matsyusheuski - for steadiness of prices and wide range of goods in the retail network.
