World oil prices slightly down

May futures for Brent crude oil were down by 0.31% to $57.58 per barrel.

May futures for Brent crude oil were down by 0.31% to $57.58 per barrel as of 0840 Moscow time on Tuesday, while May futures for WTI crude oil were down by 0.84% to $51.70 per barrel, according to Russian newspaper Gazeta.ru.

Earlier it was reported that oil prices had risen by on average 5% amid news that Saudi Arabia plans to raise fuel prices for crude sold to Asia due to rising demand.

Earlier, WTI prices climbed by 6.1%.
