Russia's Customs Service found equipment for radiological and chemical reconnaissance.

Russian customs officers found a truck in the Rostov region carrying 20 devices for radiological and chemical reconnaissance, Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi writes.

They are used for military hardware equipped with weapons of mass destruction, Russian customs officers report.

The devices were imported from Belarus by a private company that specialises in military equipment repair. The company didn't have a special licence of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation for the goods.

It was later revealed that the company bought the equipment in Belarus, forged technical documentation and brought goods into Russia. The smuggling route has been working since 2014.

It's worth noting that the chief engineer of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant that makes products for Russia's military sector has been arrested in Belarus on suspicion of bribing.
