Baranavichy fan: "We were circled by riot police and severely beaten"

12

A fan of FC "Baranavichy" told details of the conflict with riot police before the match with Dnepr.

It should be reminded that there was a conflict between the riot police and Baranavichy fans before the Baranavichy - Drepr match.

"We held a fan gathering near cash offices at 2 pm. There were about 4 people, most of them were minors. There were two policemen who allegedly guarded us. After a while a minivan with Mahileu fans arrived. They were screaming "Ma-hi-leu".

Our minors got scared of them and rushed to the gates, which were opened or did not stem the onslaught. Behind the gates we were circled by riot police and severely beaten. We were beaten up in head, legs. Then we were forced to face the grid and searched. Later, we were taken to the police department to sign document that we did not have any claims to police actions.

Only one person did not sign it, he had a broken collarbone.

However, I still can't understand why we were beaten up. None of us fought back. Thre was no fight with Mahileu fans. "Nice" practice. However, one of the policemen shouted at his colleagues: What are you doing?, one of the victims told Nasha Niva.

It should be noted that the police did not comment on the incident.
