Belarus remain 83rd in FIFA ranking

The Belarusian national football keeps the 83rd place in the recent ranking of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Belarus held no games in the previous month, and holds 397 points. Alexander Khatskevich's men will play a friendly against the Russian national team in Khimki, Moscow Region on 7 June. On 14 June they will face Spain in the next Euro 2016 qualifying tournament at Borisov Arena.

Group C positions are as follows: Slovakia hold 15 points, Spain – 12, Ukraine – 9, Belarus – 4, Macedonia – 3, Luxemburg - 1.

Belarus' rivals in Group C take the following positions in FIFA ranking: Spain goes 10th with 1,132 points, Slovakia – 19th with 920 points, Ukraine – 33rd with 772 points, Macedonia – 105th with 312 points and Luxemburg – 137th with a total of 200 points.

According to the FIFA rankings, Russia goes 27th with 828 points, Uzbekistan – 72nd (476 points), Armenia – 77th (449), Latvia – 85th (387), Estonia – 93rd (358), Lithuania – 100th (333), Azerbaijan – 116th (264), Moldova – 12oth (245), Kazakhstan – 134th (210), Georgia – 139th (197), Tajikistan – 143rd (173), Kyrgyzstan – 153rd (148), Turkmenistan – 159th (131).

The FIFA top ten:

1. Germany – 1,687 points

2. Argentina – 1,494

3. Belgium – 1,457

4. Columbia – 1,412

5. Brazil – 1,372

6. Netherlands – 1,301

7. Portugal – 1,221

8. Uruguay – 1,176

9. Switzerland – 1,135

10. Spain – 1,132.
