Sergey Markov: Belarus can suffer Ukraine's destiny

Pro-Putin political scientist is displeased with patriotic mood growth in Belarus.

Sergey Markov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Public Forum on International Affairs and co-Chairman of the National Strategic Council of Russia, responded to increased number of publications on difference between Belarusians and Russians. He wrote his comment on Facebook page.

"Belarus. Litvin neo-Nazism ideology, on the model of Ukrainian and Banderist neoNazism, is being formed. There are the same theses in Ukraine and Belarus: idea of national superiority and difference from Russians. If these neo-Nazi scoundrels are failed to be stopped now, Belarus is subject to suffer the destiny of poor Ukraine", Sergey Markov wrote.
