Debts of companies grow by 27% in five months

The amount of payables of companies was 323.6 trillion rubles on June 1, 2015.

The amount of overdue accounts payable was 48.4 trillion, or 15% of the total amount of payables compared to 33.5 trillion rubles (13%) on June 1, 2014, BelaPAN quotes the press service of the National Statistical Committee.

The amount of overdue payables rose 26.5% compared to January 1, 2015. The growth in May was 1.1%. The total payables rose by 13.9% and 2.4% respectively.

Since the beginning of the year, the amount of payables and overdue payables: increased in agriculture, hunting and forestry by 19.5% and 22.6% respectively, including in agriculture – by 20.1% and 22.6%, fishing and fish-farming – by 47.9% and 8.5%, in industry – by 16.8% and 36%, in construction sector – by 13.8% and 18.8%, in trade – by 11.2% and 14.4%, in hotels and restaurants – by 72.8% and 41.5%, in transport – decreased by 19.9% and grew by 3.5%, in telecommunication – decreased by 21% and 57.3%, financial activities – increased by 36.8% and 2.7-fold, in education – decreased by 6.8% and increased by 66.6%, in utilities – decreased by 2% and increased by 23.7%.

The amount of accounts receivable on June 1, 2015, was 252.4 trillion rubles, including 53 trillion rubles (21% of the total amount of receivables) of overdue receivables compared to 35.1 trillion (17.1%) on June 1, 2014.

The amount of overdue receivables rose by 31% compared to January 1, 2015. The growth in May was 2.2%. The total receivables rose by 15.4% and 2.3% respectively.

Since the beginning of the year, the amount of accounts receivable and overdue receivables: increased in agriculture, hunting and forestry by 23.1% and 40% respectively (including in agriculture – by 22.7% and 39.4%), fishing and fish-farming – increased by 52.7% and decreased by 12.1%, in industry – increased by 19.3% and 45.8%, in construction sector – by 11.6% and 13.4%, in trade – by 5.5% and 6%, in hotels and restaurants – by 49.8% and 59.4%, in transport – by 3.6% and by 17.6%, in telecommunication – by 0.1% and 21.8%, financial activities – by 8.8% and 22.3%, in education – decreased by 52.3% and increased by 30.2%, in healthcare and social services – increased by 12.9% and 1.7-fold, in utilities – by 5.5% and 14%.
