Russian MP Ponomarev put on international wanted list

Russian State Duma MP Ilya Ponomarev, who voted against the annexation of Crimea in March 2014, has been put on an international wanted list on charges of complicity in embezzlement.

It became officially known on Friday during hearings in Moscow's Basmanny Court, which was considering his arrest in absentia, according to Russian news agency TASS.

"Ponomarev has been put on an international wanted list," a judge announced.
