Journalist from Mahilou summoned to police

The police visited home of journalist Alina Skrabunova on July 21.

They issued her a summons to appear at the Leninski district police department at 16:30. The police officers told the journalist that an administrative case had been opened against her. The woman needs to visit the police department to get acquainted with the case, Viasna human rights centre reports.

Alina Skrabunova does not know the charges, but she thinks the administrative case may have relation to her professional activities. The journalist says police officers visited her friends and relatives during the past months and asked them what she did and whether she bore any relation to making some or other information materials.
