Come back of the OSCE office to Minsk failed

During his visit to Minsk Ivica Dačić, Chairman of the organization, did not discuss the issue on resumption of work of the OSCE office in Belarus.

Dzmitry Mironchyk, press-secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Policy Department, said on Thursday, Interfax reports.

"As I know, this issue is not being discussed", he pointed out.

The OSCE mission worked in Minsk since 1998. In 2010 it was decided to close the office "in connection with absence of good reasons for the mission preservation." The OSCE office in Minsk officially stopped its work on March 31, 2011.
