Belarusian black list extended

Few groups in social networks, a video with political actions on YouTube and a personal account on VKontakte were restricted.

On July 23 new eight points appeared in the Restrictive Access list. A competent source informed tut.by.

Some political videos on YouTube, a few groups on Facebook, VKontakte and Twitter, as well as a personal account of a VKontakte user will be under restricted access.

The reason for it is "The court finds this information posted on information resources extremist". The decision is based on Law on Mass Media.

Within 24 hours providers are obliged to block the access to these pages. IP, DNS and URL access to these sites will be restricted.

It should be reminded that in February 2015 a ruling that determined the order for access to sites. The Information Ministry makes decisions on restricted access; the Republican unitary enterprise on supervision of telecommunications manages a black list of Internet resources.

Those sites containing information about drug trafficking, as well as any other forbidden and limited for dissemination in Belarus are subject to restricted access. Resources with two or more written warnings of the Information Ministry within a year, owners who failed to fulfill a legal requirement to repair violations can be black-booked.
