49

Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin found himself in the epicenter of the scandal at the meeting of the Security Council yesterday.

At the end of his speech (video - 1:50) with word attacks against Pavlo Klimkin, Head of Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, the Russian diplomat expressed hope that those guilty of death of 298 people, flight MH17, would not incur liability, liga.net writes.

"We hope that the investigation will analyze and impunity will come against both those who shot down the plane and those who directed it to a war zone," Vitaly Churkin stated.

It should be reminded that earlier, diplomats in their speeches at the meeting of the UN Security Council accused the Kremlin of unwillingness to establish the Tribunal, because of possible involvement of Moscow and militants and mercenaries supported by it in the terrorist attack against Boeing in the Donbass.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council Russia vetoed the resolution on the establishment of the International Tribunal to investigate the fact of the air crash of Malaysian MH17 over the territory of Ukraine on July 2014.
