Alina Skrabunova lodged a complaint to Prosecutor of Mahilyou against actions of policemen, who had tried to hold her administratively liable.

On July 27 the court of Leninski district stopped consideration of Skrabunova’s case, who had been accused of illegal producing and dissemination of mass media, because the term of imposing an administrative punishment had expired, BelaPAN informs.

Earlier policemen of the police department of Leninski district charged the independent journalist of implication in producing video items for a foreign mass media, Belsat TV channel, without accreditation at the Foreign Affairs Ministry as a foreign journalist. In the interviews created by Alina Skrabunova the situation of workers of Strommashyna bankrupt plant was discussed. The footage became a part of the TV piece which was on air on May 26.

According to the complaint of Skrabunova, in particular, while police major Sinitski was carrying out the administrative process against her, he committed many violations of the law. “I have found out that protocols of witnesses’ interviews, violations in which were noted in my field interview, and my interview protocol, had been replaced,” the journalist says, pointing at the forged, as she believes, witnesses’ interviews’ protocols.

“In the protocol on an administrative offence as of July 21 there are signatures of witnesses, Vajtovich and Lakhadynava. However, when it was drawn up, they were not present there,” Alina Skrabunova claims.

Besides, Skrabunova charges the deputy head of the Directorate for Law Enforcement and Crime Prevention of the Interior Affairs Department of Mahilyou regional executive committee Dzmitry Parkou of a report which is “stylistically illiterate”, and “is not stating clearly and directly, who and in which way had prepared video items enumerated in it, including the video footage “Crisis at Belarusian enterprises. Workers’ complaints”, which is incriminated to me,” the journalist writes.

She asks the prosecutor of Mahilyou to investigate the violations named by her and bring to responsibility under the law Senior Inspector of Law Enforcement and Crime Prevention of Leniski district police department of Mahilyou, Police Major Sinitski, and oblige Police Lieutenant Colonel Parkou to write a written test in Russian, to check exactness and clearness of expressing his thoughts.
