Sberbank grants €550 million credit to Belaruskali

Russia’s Sberbank announced that it grants Belaruskali Joint Stock Company a syndicated loan.

The amount of loan is €550 million for 5 years. A guarantee of the Belarusian government is executed as a security for the loan. The lenders are Sberbank of Russia Joint Stock Company and Sberbank Europe AG (the European branch of Sberbank Group), the agent for borrowing is Sberbank of Russia JSC. Other terms of granting the money are not revealed, BelaPAN informs.

“This deal is characterized by an integrated approach to solving problems by the both parties, considering the strategic interests of the bank as well. Thanks to the use of individual financial solutions and participation of the European branch of Sberbank Group, Sberbank Europe AG, in the project, we have succeeded in offering the client an attractive level of the cost of financing,” said Natalya Ermakova, Head of Industrial Sector Division, Managing Director of Sberbank CIB.
