Belarus’ external public debt reached $12.7 bn

He public debt of Belarus as of July 1, 2015 was 249.8 trillion and has grown by 52.4 trillion rubles as compared to the beginning of the year, or 26.5%.
As informed by the Finance Ministry, the foreign public debt as on July 1, 2015 was $12.7 billion, and has grown since the beginning of the year by $101 million, or 0.8% (considering the exchange adjustments), BelaPAN informs.
In January – June 2015 external public debts were incurred for $679.1 million: $429.7 million from the government and banks of Russia: $228.8 million from Chinese banks; $20.6 million – from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Repayment of the external public debt since the beginning of 2015 was equal to $547.8 million: $150 million to the government of Russia; $75.9 million to the IMF; $176.6 million – to the Eurasian Stabilisation and Development Fund; $80.5 million – to Chinese banks; $7.5 million – to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development; $0.7 million – to the US; $56.6 million to banks of Venezuela.
The domestic government debt as on July 1 was Br55.2 trillion, and it has grown since the beginning of 2015 by Br6.8 trillion, or 14.1% (the exchange adjustments considered).
In January – July 2015 placement of domestic foreign currency government bonds for individuals and legal entities for a sum equivalent to $88.2 million, and Br340.5 billion. Since the beginning of 2015 currency and ruble government bonds for individuals and legal entities were repaid for a sum $175 million and Br815.9 billion (not considering exchange operations).
