Banner about inaction of authorities hung out on unfinished building in Minsk

Participants of the shared construction project, who signed the co-investment agreement to construct a block of flats in Valhahradskaya Street, can be called the unhappiest people in Minsk.

Four storeys have been constructed since 2009, when tens of families made their payments to Volyn real estate developer. The authorities reacted to the outrageous situation: the guilt and fraudulent intent of the developer were proved, and the company's managers were jailed. However, it didn't help the participants of the shared construction project, onliner.by writes.

Desperate people used every mean to attract attention to their problem. They appealed to the president and the head of the Minsk city executive committee. The most active people resorted to another form of “notifying” the authorities. They were going to hang out a banner on the unfinished building. The police were unusually quick. They arrived at the site where the people were painting the banner and persuaded them to go home.

However, someone managed to implement the initial plan, as it can be seen in a photo taken by a witness. The heart cry took its place.
