Country-wide decrease of GDP

This January-July all regions suffered the decrease of Gross Regional Product (GRP).

Vitsebsk region had the greatest decrease: 7.6% to Br37 trillion and 740.4 billion (7.8% of GDP).

In Mahileu region GRP fell by 3.4 % to Br31 trillion and 162.5 billion (6.5%), Homel — 4.4% to Br52 trillion and 309.7 billion (10.8%), Hrodna — 5.3% to Bt36 trillion and 92.4 billion (7.5%), Brest - 3.9% to Br43 trillion and 869.1 billion (9.1%), Minsk region — 0.4% to Br73 trillion and 325.4 billion (15.2%), Minsk - 6.2% to Br126 trillion and 852.2 billion (26.3%).

According to the first assessment of gross domestic product in January-July 2015, on current basis GDP amounted to Br482.9 billion. As compared to the same period last year in comparable prices it fell by 4% (taking into account the correction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of time for grain crop harvesting-3.5%). In January-July 2015 GDP deflator index made up 120.4% from the same period last year
