Last evening thick plume of smoke was observed from the direction of a military training ground.
However, both the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Defence Ministry keep silence.
As BelaPAN reports, a large plume of black smoke was visible from the highway M1 between Baranavichy and Slonim. It happened about 7 pm on August 20.
This is the location of 230th general military training ground (Obuz-Lesnovskij) of the Western operational command of the Army of Belarus, which provides trainings for the 11th mechanized brigade (Slonim) and 50th mechanized brigade (Baranavichy).
It is unknown whether it was a fire on the military training ground or an explosion. Both the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Defence Ministry keep silence.
