Statkevich, Nyaklyayew, Liabedzka fined

Mikalai Statkevich fined Br9 millions, Anatol Liabedzka - Br7.2 million. Uladzimir Nyaklyayew fined Br3.6 million.

Former candidate and political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich was fined 50 basic units by Tsentralny District Court. The politician is punished for "the event" with 1000 people held in Svoboda Square in Minsk on September 23, Nasha Niva reports.

The former political prisoner did not appear in the court, stated that the summons was wrongly registered.

It should be reminded that for the meeting on September 10 he was fined Br7.2 million.

Anatol Liabedzka commented on the situation: "After October 4 everyone will be detained for a day."

The Chairman of the United Civic Party was awarded two fines: for the picket on September 16 - Br5.4 million, on September 23 - Br1.8 million. Uladzimir Nyaklyayew got a fine of Br3.6 million.
