Government Takes Revenge on Son of Activist for Her Fight Against Abuse of Judicial System

Larysa Zhyhar reported on deterioration of incarceration conditions of his son.

The initiator of the creation of social and educational public association "Mother's Movement 328" Larysa Zhyhar reported on it, Radio Racyja informs.

It turns out that the young man has recently been deprived of making photographs. Besides, he was not allowed to say goodbye to his father, who died two weeks ago. According to Larysa, these facts prove the revenge on the part of local authorities for her activity as defender of rights of those convicted under Article 328 of the Criminal Code (drug and psychotropic substances trafficking):

- We met with the Chief of the Department of Corrections of the Republic of Belarus Siarhei Daroshka. He had a meeting with mothers on private matters, so I addressed my question on why my son was denied to make photographs. He said there should be some ground for it. Although he knew that the characteristics of my son were brilliant with no violations and penalties, Larysa Zhyhar said.

Socio-educational public association "Mother's Movement 328" established by mothers of the wrongfully convicted for dissemination and use of drugs more than a year ago. The organization takes numerous attempts to obtain the state registration, but it still can't succeed.
