In Currency Exchange Offices Dollar Is Sold At Br20,000

Today Euro is sold at Br21,300 and more.

The new exchange rates of the National bank have brought new anti-records of the Belarusian ruble. The US dollar is already sold at Br20,000 in currency exchange offices.

The National Bank of Belarus has announced exchange rates for January 15. 1 US dollar costs Br19,514 (+188 rubles, or 0.97%), Euro - Br21,197 (+269 rubles, or 1.3%). The Russian ruble has gone up a little as well, up to Br254.58 (+1.83 rubles, or 0.72%), Radio Svaboda informs.

Meanwhile, the US dollar is not sold cheaper than at Br19.550, and in most banks at Br19,650 or thereabouts, and it is Br20,000 at some banks already. And it is sold at Br19,300 – 19,700. Euro is sold at Br21,300 and more.

Since the beginning of the year the US dollat has gone up by almost 1,000. On January 1, 2016 the exchange rate of the National bank was Br18,569 per dollar, Br20,300 per Euro and Br255.33 per one Russian ruble. And in the beginning of 2015 Br11,900 were charged for a dollar, Br14,460 per one Euro and Br207 for a Russian ruble.
