Freedom Belarus May Sound At Eurovision-2017

THE SUPERBULLZ group makes ready a Belarusian patriotic public relations company.

THE SUPERBULLZ musicians presented the song “Back 2 Da Old School” and stated they were going to submit it to the Eurovision-2017. They said that, when they heard Max Fadeev suggesting the Belarusian authorities to find a Russian artist, who would go to the contest to represent Belarus, in gratitude for “Fomochkin’s flag,” they decided to launch a Belarusian public relations campaign.

Frontman Ales-Frantsishek Myshkevich and producer Ruslan Starykouski told Euroradio whether we should be stand in awe of the song with the words “Freedom Belarus” at the Eurovision and for whom the group sings:

– Jamala had a serious song, but there are memories from childhood in our song. The song refers to the nostalgic days when Belarus became a sovereign state. And the words in the chorus “freedom Belarus” mean precisely that past, the new Belarus, new dreams for all Belarusians. There are no appeals. In 1991, when I went to school, Belarus became independent.

Last year's experience showed that the group Navi had all the chances to go to the Eurovision, but Drobysh was a cool producer, who could afford to organize a perfect campaign by telephone voting. If this year we see a choice between Fadeev’s artist and the Navi, of course, we will call upon all our fans to vote for the Navi.

Why will it be bad if a Russian artist represents Belarus at the Eurovision? There are two things. First, we pay the charge for the country's participation in the competition out of our taxes. Neither Fadeev, nor Drobysh, but BTRC allocates about 150-200 thousand euros. Second, if the artist has success, the money he earns goes to the producer, in this case, to a Russian one. And if the winners are Belarusians, Belarus will get promoted.
