‘Young Front’ Holds Action In Support of Eduard Palchys
Eduard Palchys

The activists are collecting the Belarusians’ signatures under the ‘extremist’ article at the website 1863x.com.

The ‘Young Front’ activists continue collecting signatures for including the white-red-white flag into the register of historical and cultural values. However, it is now possible to sign for the article of blogger Eduard Palchys at the picket.

The ‘Young Front’ leader Zmitser Dashkevich wrote on his Facebook page that the court found the article “5 Reasons Why Ukraine Will Defeat Russia” extremist. This is what the founder of the website 1863x.com is standing trial for.

- We chose this very article for signing as, first, it’s the most laconic one, and secondly, Eduard Palchys was lured to the Russian Federation and arrested there exactly because of his counterstand to Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.

It is planned that on October 14, before the trial starts, Eduard Palchys’ lawyer will appeal to add the signed article ‘5 Reasons…’ to the criminal case materials.

- We offer to all the people to sign under this text to demonstrate to the Belarusian-Russian kangaroo court: everyone of us is John Silver today, if you put Eduard Palchys under trial for this, then you should consider putting us under trial as well.

The places where one can sign for #нашсцяг (our flag) and Jhon Silver’s article:

1. Exit from Kupalauskaya/Kastrychnitskaya metro station in the direction of the ‘Central’ department store (2-9 p.m.)

2. Exit from Yakub Kolas Square metro station in the direction of Kamarouski market (2-9 p.m.)

3. Exit from the Independence Square metro station in the direction of the central railway station and Druzhnaya Street (2-9 p.m.)

4. Exit from the Institute of Culture metro station in the direction of the public amenities center and the railway station (3-8 p.m.)

5. Exit from the Kamennaya Horka metro station in the direction of the ‘Materik’ store (5-9 p.m.)

We remind herewith, the trial against blogger Eduard Palchys, who was recognized as a political prisoner by the Belarusian human rights defenders, will start on October 14. The trial will be held in the closed regime.

Previously, Zmitser Dashkevich called for coming up to the court building at 10 a.m. on October 14 for an action of solidarity with Eduard Palchys.
