Brutto’s performance in Homel became a fraternal union of the Belarusians yearning for freedom.

Brutto was greeted triumphantly in Homel. The performance was a powerful burst of energy, thousands of people enthusiastically welcomed the group on their home soil, Nasha Niva reports following the concert.

In the final, Siarhei Mikhalok came to the stage with his son Makar and finished the concert with the words: “And let us give with the eyes all that what has not been said.

”Siarhei Mikhalok's wife shared her impressions after Brutto’s concert in Homel. Sviatlana Zeliankouskaya was there with his son Makar, whom the father took to the stage.

“The impressions are super, – Sviatlana Zeliankouskaya said to Radio Svaboda. – I am glad that my husband has achieved what he has wanted since he was 19, what has lived in there all his life, what fills in a young internally strong man. I fell in love with him for that. And today I saw the full bloom of what I had been dreaming about.”

“Belarus is his native land, – Zeliankouskaya continued. – The fact that he was greeted here so heartily, with such a joy, shows that he is welcomed, has been waited for. People are longing for freedom, for those, who are telling the truth. When they were allowed to say the truth in very deed, all the real heroes, all the people, who feel free, met here. And they felt unanimity. It was not just my husband’s performance. That was the unity of those, who wanted to say: “We are together, we love each other, we support each other and have one centerpiece.” This centerpiece is the love for our culture, for our homeland, for our freedom.”

Siarhei Mikhalok called the first performance of Brutto in the homeland a historical event, and then addressed the fans of the band: "Your solidarity, your willpower, your hot hearts helped move this rock of misunderstanding and melt the ice of alienation. This is just the beginning; the band moving ahead, and new cities of the Republic of Belarus are waiting."

" Thanks to you, our steel and strong native people, we have returned home!"

The Brutto band was allowed to perform in Belarus for the first time. The frontman of the band Siarhei Mikhalok has been on the informal "black list" since 2010, and could not sing in Belarus. As a result, he was granted a residence permit in Ukraine in May 2015.

3000 tickets were sold for the performance in Hrodna on October 29. Brutto came with its new program Double Hot, which included tracks from the album "Rodny Krai" ("Native Land") and Underdog, as well as favorite songs of Lyapis band of the last ten years.
