The last accused in the so-called "case of Square", was transferred to the Navinki mental hospital.

Uladzimir Kondrus is to be subject to a psychological and psychiatric examination. The Maskouski district court of Minsk made such a decision after Kondrus's attempt to open his veins in the courtroom.

His parents told to Belsat that they can't arrange a meeting with their son since August.

They let us meet, but the meeting didn't happen due to the state of his health – that were the last days of his longest hunger strike. Later we asked the court– the prosecutor promised to let us meet, but didn't let us. And now it's not likely that they will let us meet at all," – Uladzimir Kondrus's father says.

Uladzimir Kondrus was detained in June. According to the investigation, he participated in the attack of the House of Government during the post-election protests 6 years ago. A number of Belarusian human rights defenders consider him a political prisoner.
