Liesegang arrived on Sunday, stayed here for a week. He did not speak at the forum, but met with friends and acquaintances.

Liesegang is now a freelancer, he organizes training in Germany for journalists from Eastern Europe. Previously, he organized educational and Chernobyl programs.

He got his visa along with other German participants of the forum. The stamp "Entry to Belarus Is Forbidden" Liesegang received at departure. Asked by journalists, he did not put forward any assumptions, why he had been included in the "banned" list. "They do not explain," – he noted.

Liesegang visited Belarus for the first time in 6 years. The "Minsk Forum" was held for the first time after a six years interval, as the German side had suspended it in order to support the opposition after the riots of 2010-2011.
