Mikalai Statkevich: Regime Got Into Predicament Of Pig Before Slaughter

Belarusians have to take the responsibility for the country, basically sold by the shallow-brained dictator.

Belarusian opposition leader and presidential candidate at the elections 2010 Mikalai Statkevich wrote that on his Facebook page.

"Recently I’ve read Russian political scientist Valery Solovyov’s interview to Euroradio. This is what he said:

"... I have no doubt that there are a lot of those in Belarus, who have a fellow feeling for Russia, including the ones in the Belarusian leadership, who, if necessary, will support the actions of the Russian Federation. You know about the results of the closed survey, conducted among Belarusian army officers, which revealed that 70- 80% would want Russia and Belarus to unite not formally, but de facto. So there are people in Belarus, who Russia can count on. As a matter of fact, Lukashenka has done a lot for that: for 20 years his policy has been based on the idea that "we and Russians are brothers forever, we are one people, with the common destiny"...

There’s a question to the minister of defense – what kind of "closed survey, conducted among officers" was it about, who conducted it, and where can one see the full results?

Unfortunately, these figures seem to be close to the reality. They prove once again that there is no army in Belarus to defend its independence. The modern "Belarusian" army is actually a branch of another country's army. The Belarusian state for its own army is a phony state.

Such an army is a biggest threat to its state’s independence. It’s enough to recruit a dozen senior officers, those who strive for "de facto union" during "fraternal" joint exercises, and send through the open border a special force battalion to support them. That's all of the "strong state".

The Russian political scientist also said who is personally responsible for such a dangerous situation, which is not found anywhere else in the world. One cannot but agree with him.

The degree of shallow-mindedness of the Belarusian so-called "president" is impressive. He has led our country to this threatening situation, playing in the "integration". The cunning is not the mind. He played with our destiny and finished badly.

This behavior reminds the behavior of apig, who does not think, why it is fed. It eats, grunting contentedly, and thinks that it will be forever. But one morning nobody brings food. The pig squeals indignantly. Finally the master comes, but instead of buckets of food he has a rope a knife in his hands.

Now the Belarusian people have to think how to get out of this situation.
