Pedometer Bracelet Attached To Leg Of Worker In Zhodzina

Pedometer Bracelet Attached To Leg Of Worker In Zhodzina

If the foundry shop worker walks less than 9 km per shift, his salary will be cut.

The Chairman of the Republican Public Association "Perspective" Anatol Shumchanka wrote about this on Facebook.

"It was written on a sole trader's network: a woman came to my shop today and told a story about her sister's husband. Her sister lives in Zhodzina with her husband, who works at Metallurgical Plant.

His salary was 8 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles. Recently, the salary has been cut down to 4 million non-denominated Belarusian rubles. And last week they have attached a pedometer bracelet to his leg and said that his salary will depend on it's readings. He should walk not less than 9 km during his shift. Otherwise his salary will be cut.

He works in a foundry shop. The shop has automatic equipment now and he operates it from the operator's place. However, he should go around the site several times during the shift to prevent breakage. He has been doing this before, but now they are controlling him by means of pedometer, because they want to cut his salary.

I'd add that if this is not the humiliation of the working class, then what is it? "
