A transmedia project by Causa Creations in collaboration with Radio Racyja that attempts to collect strictly anonymous statements via the internet.

It will ask cititzens and expats from Belarus one simple question: What does it mean for you to be free?

With this seemingly simple question we want to find out what many citizens in the West have long forgotten: What does it mean, if someone is being denied their very basic civil rights? Or does life in the West hold just different restriction for the individuum?

Starting on the 25th of March we call upon those who want to voice their opinions either on the pages of Radio Racya only Belarusian or site Causa Creations Belarusian, Russian, Polish and English.

The query, conducted in a safe and anonymous manner, will generate a database of statements.

Who is behind Vox Populi:

Vox Populi is a project by Causa Creations, a design company for games and interactive applications. Causa Creations has a strong interest in politics and social justice and seeks to develop a special brand of social awareness projects, collaborating closely with NGOs such as Amnesty International.

This project is conducted in by Causa's Georg Hobmeier in close collaboration with Radio Racyja, the polish-swiss film director Pawel Siczek, the German cinematographer Daniel Samer, the backend developer Christian Knapp and last, but not least, the visual artist and programmer Patrick Borgeat and his group Ganzfeld. It's funded by the Austrian television (ORF III), that supports this project as part of the Pixel, Bytes & Film residency and the Austrian ministry of Culture.

In September 2016, Austrian Television station ORF III will show a short film that will summarize the project and its process.
