Azarenka Fined $ 2,500 For “Rude Gesture" Towards Russian Fans

Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka has been fined 2.5 thousand dollars for a “rude gesture” shown during the Fed Cup match in Moscow.

Belarusian tennis player has expressed her discontent with the noise coming from the grand standby making a violent gesture in the sixth game of the second set during the Fed Cup match against Russian tennis player Darya Kasatkina with the score 2:3.

The game finally ended in victory of the Belarusian player, and the judge had to ask the audience to be quiet (a head judge traditionally makes remarks to the fans at tennis matches). Azarenka loudly swore after losing points in the eighth game.
