Authorities To Sell Belarusian Slow Mover To Cuba

Belarus plans to export machining equipment to Cuba.

On May 19, this project was discussed in Havana at a meeting of Ambassador of Belarus Aliaksandr Aliaksandrau with the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Cuba Salvador Pardo Cruz, BelaPAN reports.

During the meeting the sides discussed other topical issues of cooperation between Belarus and Cuba in the field of industry.

According to the latest National Statistics Committee data, in January-February 2016 Belarus' trade with Cuba increased 14-fold up to 16 million dollars. Belarus exported goods totaling to the 1 million dollars (11.8% less than the same period last year), imports amounted to 15 million dollars (deliveries were not carried out last year). The negative balance is 13 million 929.7 thousand dollars.
