Yapryntsau’s Case Proceeded To Court

Yapryntsau’s Case Proceeded To Court
ULADZIMIR AND KAZBEK YAPRYNTSAU

The criminal case against Uladzimir and Kazbek Yaprintsau has been proceeded to the Tsentralny district court of Minsk.

This was reported by a Minsk city court representative Anastasia Shylvian, Belarusian News write.

The starting date of the trial has not been determined.

The information about Yaprintsau and son’s detention appeared in August last year, but it was confirmed only in December. The businessmen are accused of fraud “committed by an organized group or on a large scale” (part 4, Art. 209 of the Criminal Code). The article provides for from 3 to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

“Triple” employee Aliaksandr Arabian is also a defendant in the case.

We remind that chairman of the KGB Valery Vakulchyk reported that in the summer of 2015 businessman Yury Chyzh had appealed to the committee with a statement that the “Triple” company had problems with the tax payments due to the company co-owner Uladzimir Yapryntsau’s fault. His son Kazbek also used to work in “Triple.”

In March 2016, law enforcement agencies got interested in Yury Chyzh. He has been kept in the KGB jail up to this day. The businessman is suspected of tax evasion.
