The court fined the leader of Perspective $ 315 for participation in the rally on March 25.

Leader of Perspective Anatol Shumchanka was fined 30 basic units – Br 6.3 million ($ 315) for participation in the unsanctioned rally on Freedom Day on March 25. He received a corresponding decision of the Savietski district court of Minsk, BelaPAN reports.

At the same time, as Shumchanka reported on his Facebook page, the authorities didn’t give him a chance to take part in the trial, having sent the summons the day after the court hearing (the summons for the trial on May 24 came by post on May 25).

“That is, I was not notified duly with signature confirmation, as it should be, – Shumchanka said. – By the way, the court considers that it is duly executed.”

“The decision on the fine was brought by a mail courier, against signature, as it should be, – the association leader said.

The decision on the fine was passed by judge of the Savietski district court Volha Dubanevich.

Shumchanka intends to appeal this legal resolution, according to him, he wants” to show “the Belarusian justice” in all its glory once again.”

We remind that on April 12, the trial of the United Civil Party leader Anatol Liabedzka was held in the Tsentralny district court of Minsk. The court fined him 50 basic units for participation in the rally on March 25.
