“After the previous transfer to the Zhodzina and back to the Minsk detention center, Dzmitry expressed the hope in one of his letters that there would be no more transfers. However, the detention center administration has decided differently.

I understand that this may be related to such factors as lack of space in the Minsk detention center, as well as it can be an attempt of pressure on him. The transferr itself is a very complicated procedure both in physical and psychological sense and it can be regarded as a form of torture of the prisoners by an unreasonable transportation in uncomfortable cages.

Moreover, if the detainee will be transported to the court from Zhodzina – this means that Palienka will not be able to get enough sleep and will not be able to fully participate in the trial,” – Anastasiya Loika thinks.
