The ruler said during his visit to Malaryta that the Belarusians are to blame themselves for their low salaries.

– Only lazy people are not able to earn in Belarus. Are we at war, are we having a war or something..? You just have to take some actions, – Lukashenka said.

The ruler also noted that each person should, first of all, rely on himself or herself.

– That was a grandstand play once again,Henadz Fyadynich, the Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Radio and Electronic Industry, said in his comments to “Salidarnasts”. – Why did he not mention in Malaryta the salary of one thousand dollars that he had promised a few years ago? Or how many productive jobs, where people can earn normal money, has been created in that district center?

According to Fyadynich, generally speaking, no conditions have been created in Belarus, which would allow people to receive a decent salary.

– For this purpose you need to develop small and medium business, to make sure that people had the opportunity not to receive, but to earn the money corresponding to his work. But, unfortunately, the state policy of today aims to ensure that people receive their miserly money and dependent on the government in everything. And in general I consider that for the 300-400 rubles, which many people receive, they should work not eight hours, but maximum five hours a day. And the rest of the time they should be able to earn money in some other place to be able to support their families – that would be at least some support from the state.

But now, according to the trade union leader, many Belarusians are already “busy as a bee at three jobs” and undermine their health, trying to earn more.

– Why in the West, for example, people can work on a single work and support their families, pay for utilities and feel themselves a full-fledged citizens of their country? While in our country one thinks whether to buy some cottage cheese today or to put up with that for two days and to buy some meat. This is a direct responsibility of the State, – Henadz Fyadynich stressed.
