Aliaksandr Malochka: This Is Only The Beginning
Aliaksandr Malochka

There is only one way out of this crisis in Belarus: a social protest and revolution.

Salihorsk activist Aliaksandr Malochka wrote on Facebook.

The most "fair elections" in the Salihorsk city election precinct No. 68 are over.

And it is needed to sum up the events. Speaking frankly I needed a week to sum up and to be back in the saddle, collect my new thoughts and voice them.

To say that those were not "elections" is to say nothing.

There were no elections, only profanation, fake and lie.

At precincts with independent observers there was no turnout. And it reached fifty percent. Given this, it can be concluded that the same situation was actual for all other polling stations of election precinct No.68.

Most Salihorsk residents ignored the "elections". There is one extremely terrible aspect. I mean a complete absence of counting. Commission members opened boxes and put bulletins on the table, made a counting for the sake of appearance and then a commission chairman with his deputy deduced the desired results. Results were determined long before the voting and long before all polling stations were closed.

I do not know how it could happen in the country in the center of Europe. Well, now we know there were no "elections".

Now let us consider a human factor. A half an hour before all polling station were closed on the E-day I visited polling station No. 24. I vote their and there were people I knew who served as commission members.

Being a candidate I had a rights to be present while "vote counting". On the E-day to make a turnout equal to 50% there were added 477 voters who did not appear at the station in reality.

And a "corresponding" result of vote counting was carried out. What I am talking about? I mean that the entire commission (10 people) put their signatures under the final protocol and went home in silence. There was no person in the city, the district, the region, the country who could say: "Well, men, that's enough of it!"

No, there was no one... They kept silence as if it was all rights, they lied and committed a criminal offense and went home to raise their children, grandchildren, sons and dughters. They returned home to groan with life that no one is satisfied with and which is getting even harder from month to month.

But they were silent and sold out to relatively poor money. They allowed to use themselves like a woman of the oldest profession.

If I hear that Mrs. Yermoshyna is the one to blame, I still doubt. Yes, she is the one who created the system, but she does not take part in this profanation. Who are those involved? Chairmen and their deputies across the country derive the desired results, members of commissions know it and keep silence, prosecutors and precinct commissions veil it. This is thousands and thousands of people!

Here is one thing I'd like you to know. It seems to me that the situation in the country is not under control of the "first man" anymore. It is run by local "elite" - heads of cities, regions, large-scale enterprises. And today they are those who are interested in preservation of the system. That is why they behave and "count" votes like that, or derive the desired numbers, to be precise.

But remember, nothing is over, it is only the beginning. Why? Because there are only two ways out of the current situation: the ultimate degradation and disintegration of statehood, or a severe social protest and revolution.

That was not me or friends who invented it, this is made by history. In the foreseeable future we must gain the victory, and then all pro-power swindlers will be liable in accordance to the law. And then fair and true elections will take place!
