In September 2015, Deputy Prime Minister Anatol Kalinin solemnly laid the first stone in the foundation of a new plant – the Xin Ju Malt Technology company was going to process barley products in Belarus, Salidarnasts writes.

After a year and a half, first deputy general director of the JSC Industrial Park Developing Company Kiryl Karatseyeu said that the contract with Xin Ju Malt Technology had been terminated "by mutual agreement and without mutual claims" at the end of December 2016.

– The experts concluded that the proposed technology does not guarantee the absence of high concentration of birds, and therefore, can affect the safety of aircraft operations at the National Airport Minsk, – Kiryl Karatseyeu said.
