Minsk Residents Receive Fake "Letters of Happiness"

Surreptitiously ganefs have decided to make a good hand of tax on "parasitism".

On January 12 all media burst with talks about tax collection for government expenditures. The reason is that payment terms are extended up to February 20 and the list of payers is specified. And all of a sudden the next day, January 13, some residents near Angarskaya and Nesterova Streets in Minsk found strange notices in their mail boxes, SB Belarus Segodnya informs.

- These days we usually receive rent bills, Nina Kurlovich, resident of house 59 in Nesterova Street, remembers. - I went to take a rent bill and saw a letter with my address, surname. It informs: "You have received a registered mail." Sender - taxes. I was shocked. I have no summer cottage, or other property. I am retired. And I thought that it might be the tax on parasitism I had heard about the day before on TV. I was not interested in it. I assumed that they had decided to fine pensioners as well.

A resented 78-year-old pensioner made a call to the tax inspection of the Zavadski district. She told her story and informed that she'd been retired 10 years ago and took care of her disabled husband.

- The tax inspection was very surprised with my phone call and said that no notices had been sent, Nina Ramanauna continues. She is not subject to payment. Then she made a call to the post office. She wanted someone bring her that letter. It is slippery outdoors and she is afraid to fall. Employees checked the request and did not confirm the correspondence!

Since last Friday post office No. 47 has been having calls mostly from pensioners who have received the same letters.

- People are shocked. Most of them are pensioners. Some of them even has a high blood pressure, Volha Vrubleuskaya, operator at the post office, is at sea. - I have no idea who could do it. All fake letters write - taxes. They have the same number. And we are not able to say anything.

- Four people came to receive this registered letter, postmistress Lyubou Shynyauskaya adds. - The tracking system does not contain such information. We seized the letter and informed the administration... This is the first time I have faced such a situation. I take this position only three days. I am shocked, I used to work in the Brest region and have never had such a story.

Now postmen of post office No. 47 work as psychologists. They record cell phones of those who have received fake notices. They try to calm people down. 4 samples are sent to the central office of Belpochta to investigate.
