Zinaida Hanchar Wants Truth About Her Husband’s Disappearance From Lukashenka 11:09, 30/01/2002
A wife of the politician, a deputy chairman of the 13th Supreme Soviet, who disappeared more than two years ago, has written an open letter to Alyaxandar Lukashenka. Zinaida Hanchar is indignant that the authorities silence the fact of the disappearance of Hanchar. She also states that she is confident that he was abducted for political reasons. “You realized that you cannot defeat my husband in open contest, and so you abduced him”, -- Zinaida Hanchar writes.
She demands Lukashenka to answer if the former KGB head Matskevich and former Prosecutor General Bazhelka were dismissed because they revealed involvement of high-ranking officials to the abduction of the reporter Dzmitser Zavadsky, and why Viktar Sheiman was appointed Prosecutor General after his name appeared in the documents that shed light on the mystery of Viktar Hanchar’s abduction.
