Ahead of the Protest March “CAN’T LIVE LIKE THAT ANYMORE!”, due to take place in Minsk on April 19, the Charter’97 press-center will run on its web-site an on-line conference with the Protest March organizer human rights defender Dmitry Bondarenko and journalist Nikolai Khalezin. Dmitry Bondarenko – former director of the independent “Radio 101,2”, shut down by Lukashenko in 1996, coordinator of the Charter’97 civil initiative since the very moment of its proclamation in 1997. Nikolai Khalezin – a journalist, an artist, who exhibited his works in the world’s greatest art galleries, a founder of the Center of modern art “Vita Nova”, who coauthored the newspaper “Imya” and the Alternative theatre. Dmitry Bondarenko and Nikolai Khalezin are the organizers of the most successful actions of the Belarusian opposition – “Freedom March–1”, “Freedom March-2”, “Chernobyl Shlyach-2000” and the “Boycott” campaign. The conference will take place
on Tuesday April 9 at 4p.m.-8p.m., Minsk time. The languages of the conference – Belarusian, Russian and English.
