Indebtedness Before Budget Goes 55,5% Uphill 11:17, 17/06/2002
According to the Ministry of taxation of Belarus, by May 1, 2002 the companies’ indebtedness before the state budget reached 208,6bln rubles. In comparison with the beginning of the year it rose by 55,4%.
Out of the above specified sum, the debt for the VAT amounted on May 1 to 60,3bln rubles, on budget payments from sales – 62bln, excise taxes – 21,2bln, single tax for agricultural manufacturers – 17,8bln, income tax – 7,9bln, reports BelaPAN.
The Ministry of finance reports that in total in January-April this year the state budget received 2258,1bln rubles in profits, of which 53% stand for the VAT, income tax, excise tax and tax on companies’ profits. Meantime, over one forth of all budget incomes comes from the VAT payments. The size of the delayed payments equaled on May 1 to 25,1bln rubles and fell, as compared with January 1, 2002, by 26,3%.
