This summer harvesting follows the traditional Soviet traits of “struggles for crop” in accordance with their ideological attributes. Recent State newspapers and reports on the competition between the collective farms will be delivered immediately on the fields and the flags of “labor glory” will fly over collective farms’ buildings in honor of the best combine operators.

All the region executive committees received the governmental order the main purpose of which is formulated in the following way: ‘ to fulfill the complex of events in the ideological and cultural ensuring of harvesting.” The grand scale of the ideological demarches is the testimony of the weightiness of these measures, which are not soap-bubbles, nothing of the kind. In Minsk region 22 regional headquarters, 127 district and 337 rural information-propagandistic groups will be involved in this work. Among the tasks of these shock battalions - -coordination of the ideological work, informing the participants of the reaping about the most important events in the life of the country and abroad.

The creating of press centers in the district executive committees, where the reports on the success in patriotic bringing up of the coordinators and machine specialists will be collected is thought to be the culmination of the ideological campaign. So, the number of workers on the collective farms’ fields will considerably increase. Somebody will harvest and other will play the trumpet. The activity of Belarusian propagandists already exceeds even Soviet experience.
