NEWS  No Alternative Service to be In Belarusian Army 13:44, 03/11/2005 Belarusian Defence Minister general-colonel Leanid Maltsau believes that the possibility for the alternative service should be given only to those people who cannot take arms in their hands for some reasons. “If it is rather simple with the first category, almost anyone can name himself a pacifist,” the Minister said. “About 100 or 120 such draft-age men are found every year.
