Central election commission is indignant with visa ban for Belarusian officials
17:27, 09/11/2005

“Let God make elections in this countries as democratic as in Belarus,” - commented statement on Belarus made by EU Council on November 7 secretary of Central election commission of Belarus Mikalay Lazovik.

“It’s impossible to speak about cooperation but prohibit the officials to enter Europe. First they come to us and say what to do, than they don’t let us come there. I can’t say what it is. But it is not cooperation,” - said Mr. Lazovik. Secretary of Central election commission marked that Belarusian legislation corresponds to international standards and allows to organize fair democratic elections. “I would say to those who teaches us that we have seen many times that several super democratic countries have serious problems with fair democratic elections,” - said M. Lazovik.
